For pet parents seeking unparalleled care, our House-Sitting service offers a truly special experience. Reserved solely for Manhattan Midtown East residents, this premium service is designed for dogs who cannot be boarded, or for pets that are most comfortable remaining in their own home and following their usual routine. It can also work very well for families with multiple pets.

We currently offer two house-sitting formats:

Overnight Stay

  • This option is a 12-hour overnight stay in your home, covering the core hours from 9 PM to 9 AM.
  • The service includes two dedicated walks (one before bedtime and one before breakfast), feedings, and all standard evening and morning routines.
  • Additional afternoon walk or other necessary visits can be requested as supplementary services.

Almost Full-Day

  • This option involves a sitter staying in your home for extended periods during the day, making sure all daily routines are managed.
  • It’s important to clarify that this option does not involve constant 24/7 presence in the home. Instead, the sitter will be in and out throughout the day, never gone for more than four hours at a time, while following the agreed-upon schedule to provide consistent care, walks, feedings, and attention for your pets.

  • Option 1: Overnight Stay

    • This option includes a 12-hour overnight stay in the client’s house, covering the core hours from 9 PM to 9 AM.
    • The service covers two dedicated walks (one before bed and one before breakfast), feedings, and all standard night and morning routines.
    • Additional afternoon walks and other necessary visits can be requested as supplementary services.

  • Option 2: Full-Day Stay

    • This option involves one or both of us residing in the client’s home, ensuring all daily routines are managed.
    • It’s important to clarify that Full-Day House-Sitting does not entail constant 24/7 presence of the sitter in the client’s house. Instead, the sitter will be in and out during the day (gone for no more than 4 hours at a time), adhering to the agreed-upon schedule for the pets’ care needs and attention throughout the day.

  • Requirements:

    • Sleeping Arrangements: A comfortable sleeping setup must be provided, which includes a real bed with a proper mattress or a high-quality sofa bed. We do not accept air mattresses, futons, children’s beds, sofas/couches that do not have a designated sleeping function, or sofa beds with poor-quality mattresses. Clean bed sheets and a large bath towel are expected to be provided. If this is not possible for any reason, we must be notified at least one week before the start of the stay so we can make necessary arrangements.
    • Privacy & Security: All indoor cameras must be disclosed. Cameras in sleeping and living areas will be covered or unplugged for privacy. No cameras can be in the bathroom.
    • Exclusive Use of the Home: During the house-sitting period, no other individuals (including family members or guests) may stay or use the apartment.
    • Construction & Noise Considerations: No construction, renovations, or similar disruptive work can take place in your home while we are house-sitting. If scheduled maintenance or cleaning service appointments must occur, they need to be communicated to us well in advance so we can work around them. However, we understand that unexpected maintenance emergencies (such as a broken pipe requiring urgent repairs) may arise. In such cases, we will cooperate as much as possible to provide access and assist in resolving the situation while prioritizing your pet’s well-being.

  • Cancellation Policy:

    • The cancellation policy depends on several factors such as the season, length of stay, and how far in advance the booking was made. Specific terms will be discussed and agreed upon prior to booking.
    • If no special cancellation arrangements have been requested by either party, our standard boarding cancellation policy will apply by default.
